Lorenz Trein

Lorenz Trein, born in 1984, studied religious studies, ethnology, and modern and contemporary history. He received his doctorate from the University of Basel in 2015. In 2022, he completed his habilitation in religious studies at the University of Munich, where he was granted the Venia Legendi in 2023. Trein worked as a scholar of religion and culture and as a research associate at the University of Munich’s Department of Religious Studies.
