Paul M. Zulehner (born 1939) is an Austrian religious sociologist with doctorates in philosophy and theology. From 1984 until his retirement in 2008, he was Professor of Pastoral Theology at the University of Vienna; he previously taught in Bamberg, Passau and Salzburg. The universities of Erfurt and Cluj awarded him honorary doctorates for his research and projects in Central and Eastern Europe. His numerous publications address topics in the sociology of religion, the sociology of the Church and pastoral theology.
