Michael Langer

Born in 1960, Michael Langer holds doctorates in philosophy and theology (Dr. phil., Dr. theol. habil.). He taught as an adjunct professor of Catholic theology and religious education at the University of Regensburg and at the University College of Teacher Education Vienna/Krems. His academic fields included religious education and kerygmatics. Langer directed the master’s program “Religion–Culture–Spirituality” and served as an adviser on religious education to the Youcat working group commissioned by Christoph Cardinal Schönborn. He also served as a deacon of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising.
