Michael Seewald

Michael Seewald, born in Saarbrücken in 1987, is a Catholic theologian. He studied Catholic theology, philosophy and political science in Tübingen, Pune, Frankfurt am Main, Boston and Munich. He received his doctorate in theology in Munich in 2011, was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart in 2013, and completed his habilitation in dogmatics and ecumenical theology in 2015. In 2016, he was appointed professor of dogmatics and the history of dogma at the University of Münster.
