Melanie Wolfers (born 1971) is a German philosopher, theologian, and author. She studied philosophy and theology in Freiburg and Munich, earned a doctorate in theology, and holds a Master’s degree in philosophy. From 2002 to 2004, she served as a university chaplain in Munich. In 2004, she joined the Salvatorian Sisters and worked in social services in the West Bank. Her publications include “Die Kraft des Vergebens. Wie wir Kränkungen überwinden und neu lebendig werden” and, co-authored with Andreas Knapp, “Glaube, der nach Freiheit schmeckt”.
