Melanie Wolfers (born 1971) holds a doctorate in theology and a master’s degree in philosophy. She studied philosophy and theology in Freiburg and Munich. From 2002 to 2004, she worked as a university chaplain in Munich; in 2004, she joined the Salvatorian Sisters. Her work has included pastoral care, counseling, public speaking and social work in Palestine (the West Bank). Wolfers has published books including “Die Kraft des Vergebens. Wie wir Kränkungen überwinden und neu lebendig werden” and, together with Andreas Knapp, “Glaube, der nach Freiheit schmeckt”.
