Markus Kavka

Markus Kavka, born in Ingolstadt in 1967, is a German journalist, presenter and author. After working in print and radio, he began his career in music television at VIVA in 1995. He moved to VIVA ZWEI in 1997 and worked as a presenter and producer at MTV Germany from 2000 to 2009. He later appeared in programmes on Kabel Eins, ZDFkultur, Nitro and Deluxe Music. He has also worked as a radio presenter, podcaster and DJ. Kavka has published several books, including collections of columns, an interview book and a novel. A self-professed Depeche Mode fan, he dedicated a book to the band.
