Frank Goosen (born 1966 in Bochum) is a German author and cabaret artist. He became known as one half of the cabaret duo Tresenlesen and for his novel »Liegen lernen«, which was adapted for film. His other works include »Sommerfest«, »Radio Heimat«, »Raketenmänner«, »So viel Zeit«, »Kein Wunder« and »Spiel ab!«. Several of his books were adapted for film or the stage. Goosen also published short stories and columns. In 2003, he received the Literaturpreis Ruhrgebiet. A self-described Beatles and VfL Bochum fan, he also wrote a book about the Beatles.
