Maik Weichert

Maik Weichert (born 1977) is a German guitarist and songwriter. He became known as a member of the metalcore band Heaven Shall Burn, which originated in Saalfeld, Thuringia. The band’s album “Of Truth and Sacrifice” reached number one on the German album charts in 2020. Weichert studied law at the University of Jena, earned a doctorate at the Faculty of State Sciences at the University of Erfurt, and completed his legal traineeship with the Free State of Thuringia.
