Marion Brasch

Marion Brasch was born in East Berlin in 1961. After completing school, she worked as a trained typesetter in a printing house, for various publishers and for the Composers’ Association of the GDR. In 1987 she began working as a music editor at DT64 and later worked for Radio Fritz, Kulturradio and radioeins (RBB), among others. In 2012 she published the family novel “Ab jetzt ist Ruhe. Roman meiner fabelhaften Familie,” which became a bestseller. It was followed by “Wunderlich fährt nach Norden” and “Lieber woanders”; she has also written short stories and plays.
