Malte Spitz, born in 1984, is a German politician, author and activist. He served for seven years on the federal executive board of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and joined the party’s council in 2013. In 2011, he published data retained about him after successfully taking legal action to obtain it. The publication received the Grimme Online Award. His book *Was macht ihr mit meinen Daten?* was published by Hoffmann und Campe in 2014.
