Lea Kampe

Lea Kampe, the pseudonym of Iris Claere Mueller, was born in Mannheim in 1971 and grew up in Bad Wimpfen near Heilbronn. She studied German, philosophy and political science at Heidelberg University and earned a doctorate in Medieval Studies at Yale University. She worked at an international school and taught medieval history at the University of Maryland Europe.
