Eva-Maria Bast

Eva-Maria Bast (born 1978) worked as a journalist and author and ran a media and journalism office. She initiated and wrote the book series “Geheimnisse der Heimat,” launched in 2011. Her journalistic work received several awards, including the German Local Journalism Award from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, which she received jointly with the Südkurier in the history category. From 2012 onward, she also published crime novels and historical and contemporary historical fiction. As part of the author duo Charlotte Jacobi, she co-wrote the Spiegel bestseller “The Douglas Sisters.” In 2016, she launched the magazine “Women’s History.”
