Klaudia Ruschkowski (born 1959 in Dortmund) is an author, dramaturge, curator, editor and literary translator from Italian and English. She worked at several German theatres and, from 1991 to 1997, was a co-founder, co-director and programme director of a European cultural centre in Thuringia. A major focus of her work has been the writing of Lebanese-American poet and painter Etel Adnan, whose books she translated and edited. Ruschkowski has developed art and literature projects, organised workshops on Heiner Müller and written radio plays. Several of her radio plays were selected as Radio Play of the Month. Her first novel, Rot, sagte er, was published as the opening volume of a trilogy set in and around Volterra.
