Giuliano Turone, born near Genoa in 1940, is an Italian jurist and former judge at the Milan Court of Cassation. From 1970 to 1987, he served as an investigating judge in Milan and led, among other cases, the investigations into the P2 lodge. In the 1990s, he was part of the first team of prosecutors at Italy’s National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor’s Office. Turone contributed to drafting the 1990 Strasbourg Convention on money laundering and served as a prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. He also taught investigative techniques at the Catholic University of Milan and published works on legal issues, investigative strategies, the Mafia, and its associates.
