Ermanno Rea

Ermanno Rea (1927–2016) was an Italian journalist, writer, and photographer. He was born in Naples and died in Rome. After working for numerous newspapers, he devoted himself exclusively to literary writing. His novel “Mistero Napoletano” won the Premio Viareggio in 1996. He also received the Premio Campiello in 1999 and the Premio Brancati-Zafferana in 2011.
