Kathrin Schadt (born 1979 in Stuttgart) has published poetry, prose and journalistic work, including contributions to DIE ZEIT, since 2012. Her books include the novel “Lilium Rubellum,” the children’s book “Der verlorene Stern,” and the nonfiction book “Weitertragen” (2018, co-written with C. Erhardt), which deals with prenatal diagnostics. In 2020, she founded POEDU, a poetry workshop for children. She also co-edited the anthology “Brotjobs & Literatur” (2021). Her trilingual children’s book “Greta klebt da,” illustrated by Mireille Davids, was published in 2021. Schadt has hosted international poetry festivals, and her work has been translated into several languages. She received the Franz Edelmaier Residency for Literature and Human Rights.
