Jon Savage

Jon Savage, born in London in 1953, is a British pop music journalist and author. From 1977 into the 1980s, he worked for the music magazines Sounds, New Musical Express and Melody Maker. He later wrote as a pop music critic for the British newspapers The Observer and New Statesman, as well as for the magazine Mojo. He became particularly known for his books England’s Dreaming (1991; German edition 2001) and Teenage (2007; German edition 2008).
