Jeanette Hain was born in Munich in 1969. After completing secondary school, she began studying directing at the University of Television and Film Munich. She was discovered as an actress when she was cast in the lead role in Sherry Hormann’s film *The Cellist – Love and Fate*. She subsequently appeared in German and international film and television productions. She also recorded numerous audiobooks, lending them her voice, which has been described as warm and deep.
