Jan-Gregor Kremp was born in 1962 and studied at the Mozarteum University of Music and Performing Arts in Salzburg, graduating in 1989. He subsequently worked at the State Theatre of Lower Saxony in Hanover, the Residenztheater in Munich and the Burgtheater in Vienna. He later focused mainly on film and television, appearing among other productions in the international film “The Musketeer.” His acting earned him several awards, including the Best Actor Award at the Baden-Baden Television Film Festival for the television comedy “Halt mich fest!” He was also known to television audiences as “Der Alte.”
