Jason Aaron, born in 1973 in Jasper, Alabama, is an American comics writer. He entered Marvel through a talent competition, which he won with a short Wolverine story. For Marvel, he wrote titles including Wolverine, X-Men, Wolverine and the X-Men, Ghost Rider, Hulk, Punisher MAX, Avengers vs. X-Men, Original Sin, Doctor Strange, Star Wars and Conan the Barbarian. He is particularly known for his extensive Thor stories, including Thor: God of Thunder, Thor and War of the Realms. Aaron is an Eisner Award winner. His creator-owned comics include Scalped, Southern Bastards and The Other Side.
