Ina Praetorius

Ina Praetorius (born 1956 in Karlsruhe, Germany) studied German literature and Protestant theology in Tübingen, Zurich, and Heidelberg. From 1983 to 1987, she was a research assistant at the Institute for Social Ethics at the University of Zurich; she subsequently worked as a freelance author and lecturer. She received her doctorate from Heidelberg University’s Faculty of Theology in 1992. Her areas of focus included post-patriarchal ethics, theology, and spirituality. She was a co-editor of the Dictionary of Feminist Theology. In 2015, she wrote the essay “Wirtschaft ist Care” for the Heinrich Böll Foundation and founded the eponymous think tank WiC e.V. Deutschland.
