Antje Schrupp

Antje Schrupp (born 1964) is a political scientist and journalist. She earned her doctorate with a dissertation on feminist socialists in the nineteenth century and works on feminist theory, women’s political intellectual history, and the history of socialism and anarchism. Her publications include the nonfiction books »Methusalems Mütter«, »Was wäre wenn?« and »Schwangerwerdenkönnen«, as well as »Vote for Victoria!«, a biography of Victoria Woodhull, the first American woman to run for president. In 2025, Schrupp received the Luise Büchner Prize for Journalism.
