Heidi Zerning

Heidi Zerning (1940–2022) was a German translator. She studied English, American studies, history and philosophy, and worked as a full-time translator from 1990 onward. Her translations included works by Alice Munro, Virginia Woolf, Truman Capote and Steve Tesich. Zerning died in Berlin in October 2022.
