Alice Munro

Alice Munro (1931–2024) was a Canadian writer best known for her short stories. Born in Wingham, Ontario, she published numerous collections of stories as well as the novel *Lives of Girls and Women*. Her many awards included the Giller Prize, the Man Booker International Prize, and the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2013.
