Hans Peter Klein

Hans Peter Klein (born 1951) studied biology, chemistry and sports science in Bonn and taught at a secondary school for many years. In 2001, he was appointed to the chair of biology education at Goethe University Frankfurt. Klein co-founded the Gesellschaft für Bildung und Wissen and was involved in professional organizations concerned with biology education and educational policy. His publications include *Vom Streifenhörnchen zum Nadelstreifen. Das deutsche Bildungswesen im Kompetenztaumel* (2016) and *Abitur und Bachelor für alle – wie ein Land seine Zukunft verspielt* (2019).
