Claude-Helene Mayer

Claude-Hélène Mayer is a psychologist, ethnologist and economist. Her academic career included positions at the University of Johannesburg and Rhodes University in South Africa, as well as the European University Viadrina in Germany. She holds doctorates in psychology, management and political science and a habilitation in psychology, with a focus on work, organisational and cultural psychology. Mayer has published monographs, edited volumes and academic articles on transcultural mental health, conflict management and mediation, women in leadership, health in diverse work settings, shame and psychobiography. She has also worked as a mediator, mediation trainer and systemic therapist.
