Hanno Millesi (born 1966 in Vienna) is an Austrian writer and artist. He studied at the University of Vienna and the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In the 1990s, he worked among other roles as a research assistant at the Museum of Modern Art Vienna. His publications include the novels »Granturismo«, »Der Schmetterlingstrieb«, »Die vier Weltteile« and »Der Charme der langen Wege«, as well as the novella »Venusatmosphäre« and several collections of stories. »Die vier Weltteile« was nominated for the 2018 Austrian Book Prize. Millesi has received, among other distinctions, the Reinhard Priessnitz Prize and the Elias Canetti Fellowship from the City of Vienna.
