Eva Schestag

Eva Schestag (born 1963) studied Sinology in Munich, Nanjing, Zurich, and Taipei. She taught at the Goethe University Frankfurt’s institutes for Sinology and Comparative Literature. As a translator, she works from Classical and Modern Chinese as well as English. Authors whose works she has translated include Ai Weiwei, Can Xue, Han Shan, Luo Guanzhong, and Rao Pingru. At S. Fischer Verlag, she edited the four-volume anthology *Eine Sammlung Chinesischer Klassiker* (*A Collection of Chinese Classics*).
