Erik H. Erikson

Erik Homburger Erikson (1902–1994) was a psychoanalyst who emigrated to the United States in 1933. He was a professor at Berkeley and Harvard. He became known in part for his psychobiographies of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther. In 1970, he received the Pulitzer Prize.
