Emily Gravett

Emily Gravett (born in 1972 in Brighton, England) is an author and illustrator of children’s and picture books. Before studying illustration and design in Brighton, she spent eight years travelling through Britain in a bus with her partner. Her first picture book, »Achtung, Wolf!«, won the Macmillan Prize and later received, among other distinctions, the Kate Greenaway Medal and a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Award. Gravett won a second Kate Greenaway Medal for »Mein Buch vom Angsthaben«. Her picture books have been published in more than 20 languages.
