Eduardo Risso (born 1959 in Argentina) is an Argentine comics artist. He published his first professional comic, “Parque Chas,” in the anthology series “Fierro” in 1987. His first French series, “Fulù,” appeared in 1989, followed by numerous other collaborations with writer Carlos Trillo, including “Vampire Boy” and “Red Moon.” From 1997 onward, Risso also worked for the US comics market. With writer Brian Azzarello, he created “Jonny Double” and the acclaimed series “100 Bullets,” as well as “Batman: Broken City,” “Spaceman,” and “Brother Lono.” Risso also illustrated projects including “Before Watchmen: Moloch” and “Dark Night: A True Batman Story.” His work on “100 Bullets” earned him several Eisner and Harvey Awards.
