Cliff Chiang (born 1974) is an American comics artist. He studied visual arts and English literature at Harvard College and began his career as an editor at Disney Adventures magazine and DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. Since the late 1990s, he has worked primarily as an artist for major US publishers. His credits include Green Arrow & Black Canary, Human Target, Detective Comics, Zatanna and Wonder Woman, which he created with writer Brian Azzarello. With Brian K. Vaughan, he co-created the science-fiction series Paper Girls. Chiang received the 2016 Eisner Award for Best Penciller/Inker for Paper Girls. He also adapted Neil Young’s album Greendale into a graphic novel with writer Joshua Dysart and produced illustrations for, among others, GQ magazine and a Star Wars trading-card series.
