Dr. Daniela Braun holds a doctorate and a degree in social pedagogy. She was appointed professor at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences in 1993, teaching in the fields of media, aesthetics and communication, as well as soft skills in social work and childhood studies. In 2016, she became vice president of the university. Her work in early childhood education focuses particularly on promoting creativity in childcare settings. Her research projects include “Von Piccolo bis Picasso” and “Kunst und Resilienz bei traumatisierten Kindern.” In 2014, she received the Prize of the Academy of Sciences and Literature of Rhineland-Palatinate for her achievements in teaching and research.
