Freya Pausewang is a trained educator and social pedagogue. After many years of practical work in childcare institutions and residential care in Germany and abroad, she worked in the initial, continuing and advanced training of educators. She also taught at the vocational school for social pedagogy in Mainz. She wrote textbooks for educator training as well as specialist books on early childhood education.
