Claudia Wenner holds a doctorate in literary studies and has worked as a literary critic, editor, writer, publisher, and translator. In 1998, she went to Delhi as a DAAD lecturer. Her translations include works by Virginia Woolf, Raymond Carver, and Quentin Bell; for S. Fischer, she translated Virginia Woolf’s diaries. In 2006, she edited the anthology “Die Geister Indiens” and published on Indian literature.
