Claudia Brunner (born 1972) is a feminist political scientist and peace researcher. Her professional positions include serving as an associate professor at the Centre for Peace Research and Peace Education at the University of Klagenfurt. Her research examines the relationships between knowledge, science, and violence or nonviolence. Her publications include the books “Epistemische Gewalt” and “Wissensobjekt Selbstmordattentat,” as well as numerous other texts. Her work has received the Christiane Rajewsky Prize and the Caroline von Humboldt Prize; she was also supported by the Elise Richter Excellence Programme of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
