Christoph Spielberg

Christoph Spielberg is a German physician and crime writer. He studied medicine in Berlin and Munich and worked, among other places, at Berlin’s Benjamin Franklin University Hospital, where he was most recently a senior physician in the cardiology and pulmonary department. He is known for his crime novels featuring hospital doctor Dr. Hoffmann and his friend Celine. The first volume, The Russian Donation, received the Glauser Award for best debut and was adapted for television in 2022. Spielberg won the Agatha Christie Crime Prize for his short story Happy Birthday.
