Ulrike Bliefert

Ulrike Bliefert (born 1951) studied German, English, theater studies and acting. From 1974 onward, she worked as a film and television actress and became known in the late 1970s for her role as Maximiliane in the adaptations „Jauche und Levkojen“ and „Nirgendwo ist Poenichen“. She appeared in several episodes of the crime series „Tatort“ and in the series „Der Bulle und das Landei“ and „Morden im Norden“. She also worked as a radio drama and broadcast narrator and wrote screenplays, including the „Tatort“ episode „Rückfällig“. From 2006 onward, she published mainly prose, including crime novels, thrillers, short stories, and books for children and young adults.
