Christian Danz

Christian Danz, born in 1962, studied Protestant theology at the University of Jena from 1985 to 1990. He received his doctorate in 1994 and completed his habilitation in 1999. From 2000 to 2002, he served as acting professor of systematic theology at the University of Essen. In 2002, he took up a professorship in systematic theology (A.B.) at the Protestant-Theological Faculty of the University of Vienna. In 2006, he became chair of the German Paul Tillich Society.
