Charlotte Dematons

Charlotte Dematons (born 1957) studied art in Amsterdam. She is known for illustrating children’s magazines and books, and has illustrated numerous children’s titles. In 2006, she received the Zilveren Penseel (Silver Brush), one of the Netherlands’ major awards for children’s book illustration, for her illustrations for the Grimm brothers’ fairy tales.
