Cathrine Hornung

Cathrine Hornung studied American Studies, English Studies, history and Italian philology. As a translator, she translated literature from English and Italian into German, including works by Jonathan Coe, Baret Magarian, Valeria Parrella, Massimo Carlotto, Frans de Waal and Massimo Recalcati. She also worked as an editor, literary scout and reader for various publishers. She received several scholarships from the Freundeskreis zur Förderung literarischer und wissenschaftlicher Übersetzungen and the Deutscher Übersetzerfonds for her translation work.
