Frans de Waal

Frans de Waal (1948–2024) was a biologist and primatologist. He was a professor of psychobiology at Emory University and director of the Yerkes National Primate Research Center in Atlanta. He became known for numerous popular science books. Time magazine included him on its list of the 100 most influential people.
