Juliet Grames

Juliet Grames is an American author and editor. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and grew up in an Italian American family. Her debut novel, “The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna,” was published in 2019 and draws on her Calabrian roots and her family’s migration history. The book has been translated into several languages. Grames worked as an editor at the New York publishing house Soho Press, where she headed the internationally oriented Soho Crime imprint. She received the Ellery Queen Award from the Mystery Writers of America.
