John Gottman

John M. Gottman is an American psychologist and professor emeritus of psychology at the University of Washington. He became known primarily for his long-term research on marital stability and relationships, conducted with thousands of couples. Gottman founded the “Love Lab,” a research program devoted to studying partnerships. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 scientific articles and over 40 books. His work on marriage and parenthood has received numerous awards.
