Annette Ludwig

Annette Ludwig, born in Karlsruhe, studied art history, modern German literature and architectural history at the University of Karlsruhe (TH). She earned her doctorate on the Rasch brothers at the intersection of utopian architecture, typography and design; her dissertation received several awards. Ludwig worked as a research associate and curator at various museums, archives and institutions. From 2002 to 2010, she was active at the Municipal Museums of Heilbronn. She directed the Gutenberg Museum Mainz from 2010 to 2022, developing a concept for its programmatic and architectural reorientation. In 2022, she became director of the museums of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar.
