Anke Hennig

Anke Hennig studied Russian and German studies at Humboldt University of Berlin and at universities in Moscow, including MGLU and RGGU. From 2003, she worked as a research associate in Collaborative Research Centre 626, “Aesthetic Experience in the Context of the Transgression of the Arts,” at Freie Universität Berlin. Her scholarly work addressed, among other topics, the theory and poetics of Russian Formalism, concepts of the synthesis of the arts in the Russian avant-garde, totalitarian aesthetics, and the temporality of film.
