Alexandre Elsig

Alexandre Elsig is a historian whose work focuses on the cultural history of Switzerland during the First World War. In 2009, he submitted a master’s thesis at the University of Fribourg. He completed his doctorate with the thesis “Die Schrapnelle der Lüge. Die Schweiz und die deutsche Propaganda während des Ersten Weltkriegs” (“The Shrapnel of Lies: Switzerland and German Propaganda during the First World War”).
