Wolfgang Oswald

Wolfgang Oswald, born in 1958, studied Protestant theology. He received his doctorate in 1998 and completed his habilitation in 2006. From 2010 onward, he was an adjunct professor of Old Testament at the Protestant Faculty of Theology at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen. He also worked there as a research associate and Privatdozent. One of his research interests was the study of concepts of rule and statehood in ancient Israel.
