Erhard Blum

Erhard Blum, born in 1950, studied Protestant theology. He received his doctorate in 1982 and completed his habilitation in 1988. From 1989 to 2000, he held the chair of Protestant theology with a focus on biblical theology at the University of Augsburg. He subsequently held the chair of Old Testament studies, with a focus on the literary history of the Old Testament, at the University of Tübingen, where he is now emeritus.
