Willy Astor (born 1961 in Munich) became known as a comedian, singer, guitarist and composer. After training as a toolmaker and working in mechanical engineering, he began his stage career in 1985. From 1990 to 2000, he worked for the radio station Antenne Bayern and co-created the comedy series “Die Feuchtgrubers.” In 1998, he composed “Stern des Südens,” the song of FC Bayern Munich. Alongside his stage programs, Astor released instrumental albums under the title “The Sound of Islands” and a children’s album in 2015. His books include “Jäger des verlorenen Satzes.”
